Everyone who keeps Meridian FM ticking along is a volunteer member who shares a passion for broadcasting and working in our community.

If you're a potential podcaster, a budding broadcaster or a committed community builder, we'd love to hear from you - and so would our listeners!

Building skills and experience

Helping out at Meridian will help grow your communication and presentation skills, but you can also learn about IT, sound and video editing, social media, business administration and much more.

Previous young presenters at Meridian have gone on to work for the BBC (both Radio 1 and Radio 4) and ITN News. You'll be surprised how good it looks on your CV and how far a reference from a community radio station will take you!
