Steve Hall

We moved as a family to East Grinstead in 1995, and felt at home here straight away, it’s a wonderful place to live and I’m proud to feel a part of it.

I’ve worked in the broadcasting industry for over 30 years, and for most of them as a BBC Television Cameraman. I joined the team at Meridian in 2007 following a chance conversation with Neil Symon. Initially to help out with a few outside broadcasts, I quickly found myself in the studio presenting shows!

My own taste in music is very eclectic, In classical music I like anything that moves me, and this can be anything from William Byrd to Karlheinz Stockhausen. With pop music again very wide tastes, the first single I ever purchased was Popcorn by Hot Butter, and my first album was Dark Side of the Moon, and I am a Pink Floyd fan to this day.

107 Meridian FM is a terrific local resource, to have the ability to disseminate up-to-the-minute local information to the community, in and around the town is wonderful, be it news, traffic or details of a local event.
