Seyi K. K. Kenny

My friends just call me Seyi - and where I come from, we pronounce that as "Shay".

I was born into the family of broadcasters, and I have always looked forward to being one. I studied textile technology/design and arts management, and here in East Grinstead; I am in the health care and security sectors. I have also been a social events coordinator and MC (Master of Ceremonies!) for over 10years.

I was motivated to become part of Meridian FM because I felt I could make a little difference in bringing our diverse community together, through wonderful music and culture. So I offered to join the dedicated voluntary team at Meridian FM who want the local community to enjoy the privileges of a truly local radio station to serve the whole community.

I have appreciated support from other Meridian FM DJs who have all encouraged me and supported me, and many other DJs who have identified with my kind of music from around the world.

Please listen to my show, I am sure you will find it interesting and you will really enjoy the variety of different kinds of music from Africa, from Asia, and from right around the world, and I am sure it will help us understand our different cultures and musical styles.
