I was born 17 years ago when I was introduced to the world of broadcasting.
Any life I may have had before that seems to have been an irrelevance as, once I got behind the mic and felt the power of the studio, I lost all sense of time and sanity. Since then I have travelled the world as a presenter/producer for BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service) living and working in places such as the Falkland Islands, Cyprus, Kosovo, Belize, Brunei and more recently, Iraq.
Dragging myself away from the boys in Khaki (it was hard), I arrived back in my home town of East Grinstead where I grew up. A former Halsford Park and Imberhorne student and founding member of the East Grinstead Concert Band with many other ties to the town, I feel that Meridian fm is truly Your Radio, Your Station. I am proud to be part of a dedicated, voluntary team who want to bring local radio by local people to our local community.
I don't feel like dancing - what will you play to get me on the dance floor? You'd have to play hard to get me on the dance floor but once I'm there it'll be worth it.
I wish I had invented… Superglue - it's great for sticking your fingers together
What song have you listened to the most? Enigma - The age of innocence - because it's an enigma to me
It's my round - what are you having? Champagne - I'm surprised you have to ask
Je ne regrette rien - et vous? Nothing, except that I didn't learn French
I think the most overrated/underrated thing or person is… A mosquito - what purpose does it possibly have?
