Neil Symon

neilsymon.jpgFunky Weekend
Friday
8 pm - 10 pm

On Friday's join the team for "Funky Weekend" at 8pm, Two hours of classic Soul, Disco, Jazz and most of all FUNK. Kick starting your weekend and putting Funn back into Funnk.

Neil plays loads of classic dance music from the 1960's through to the 1980's, and chats with the "Funky Weekend" team. Neil Symon, Gareth "Silver Sleeves" Parks and the "Internationally aclaimed" "Dandy" Andy, will put a smile on your face with their own style of comedy.

Join in with the fun by telephone or e-mail (this is encouraged) and each week there is the chance to win an exclusive “Funky Weekend” coffee mug.

To sum it all up, three hours of great music, eye watering zany chat AND A mug.

I have been a mobile & Club D.J. since I was 17 (just a few years ago), and started my radio presenting at Hospital Radio Cuckfield. Once the station had moved to the Princess Royal Hospital I helped design the new studios and went on to be one of the main officers at the station. I have done shows on both Capital Radio and Sovereign and started my community radio work with Uckfield f.m.

Once the idea of a community station for East Grinstead was hatched, I was there like a shot, right from the beginning.
