Turners Hill Twinning Association by Nigel Peacock
Interview with Thelma Mason, 1'30"
Turners Hill was first twinned with St. Leger-en-Yvelines in 1992.
The twinning came about by accident, or more accurately a car breakdown. The association holds regular local meetings and once a year arranges visits to or from the twin town.
Meridian FM visited the Crawley Down Village Fayre and spoke to Thelma Mason, chairperson from the association, to learn more about twinning and the history of the Anglo-French link.
