New Look Library Opens Doors

Yesterday at 9.30am on the 16th February East Grinstead Library opened it's doors to the public following a five month refurbishment.
Aswell as increasing it's stock of books in the adult lending library, the new look facilities include a dedicated Children and Family Centre and an improved layout.
The Children's book section is now situated on the ground floor and a convenient 'buggy-park' can be found by the main entrance.
The large print book section is popular with older lenders and these have been placed on special low shelves so that they can be browsed easily.
MeridianFM was at the opening to speak to the staff, architectural firm and the contractor - and hear the reaction from the public.
