Crawley Down Monday Club by Nigel Peacock
Interview with Meg Sutton, 3'30"
The active Crawley Down Monday Club provides meals and entertainment for over 60 people in the old parish of Worth, which includes Crawley Down, Turners Hill and Copthorne.
With many volunteers, the Monday Club has become an important part of life in the villages.
At the 2009 Crawley Down Village Fayre, members of the club (pictured) dressed up and were doing a roaring trade in fund-raising raffle tickets, to help to covers the cost of running the club.
We tracked down Meg Sutton, one of the organisers and asked her to tell us about the Monday Club.
