OOH!! AHH!! Captain Jack

Krys O'Brien with Captain JackCaptain Jack Sparrow popped into the studio last night from 6-7pm and caused characteristic chaos and mayhem while setting the lady - Krys - all atremble!

He came into the studio to talk about the Hasting's Pirates Day on Sunday, 22nd July, a day when Hastings will attempt to reclaim the Guinness World Record from the current record holders, the Cornish Pirates of Penzance, for the 'Largest Gathering of Pirates'.  He said: 'it's a great day out for the entire family, with lots of entertainment provided, including pirate music and stunt action, a pirate wedding at 11am, followed at 1pm by the World Record Attempt, and then a full Red Arrows display at 5.30pm.

To be counted in this world record attempt, just turn up in Hastings on Sunday, 22nd July wearing your pirate costume: a pirate hat or bandana, pirate style trousers or skirt, shirt and accessories, such as a sword, hook, eye-patch, pistol, flag or parrot - not forgetting the rum!' Savvy?
