<p><span class="full-image-float-left ssNonEditable"><span><a href="http://www.meridianfm.com/storage/post-images/big-swim-banner-new.jpg"><img style="width: 40px;" src="http://www.meridianfm.com/storage/post-images/big-swim-banner-new.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1337297131600" alt="" /></a></span></span>She hasn't quite worked out how to spin CDs and chat on the microphone while&nbsp;swimming, but she has MFM's hardy tech crew working hard to meet her needs&nbsp;and we are confident they will get the result.</p>

<p>On Saturday 5th May we were at the Sussex Living Marathon - EG Section - up at EG Sports Club. On Sunday 6th May we were live at the 30th Lingfield Marathon Fun Run at St. Piers Young Epilepsy, Lingfield. And on Monday 7th May we broadcast live from the heart of EG High Street at the EG Lions May Fair.</p>
<p>Thanks to our energetic team of local presenters, interviewers and producers (and not forgetting our stalwart tech crew) we presented a total of 16 hours live broadcasting, bringing you up-to-the-minute info from your local community. <p><span class="full-image-float-right ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 190px;" src="http://www.meridianfm.com/storage/post-images/IMG_3131 Large.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1335944563511" alt="" /></span><span class="thumbnail-caption" style="width: 190px;">Winning team Esher</span></span>Completing a 6-hour outside broadcast, your 107 Meridian FM Roadshow team covered the 55th Sunshine Sevens charity tournament men's day throughout Sunday 29th April at East Grinstead Rugby Football Club on Saint Hill Road, with all the live shows being hosted by our stalwart team of Meridian Girls, Marie, Alice and Krys, each suitably dressed against the rain and the mud, and each somehow really keen to see teams of blokes battling it out in the mud. Winners this year were Esher in a thrilling final against Kamikaze.</p>
<p>More Roadshow fun next weekend at the MSDC Sussex Living Marathon on Saturday, the Lingfield Marathon on Sunday, and the Lions EG May Fair on bank holiday Monday. Come and meet us there!</p>

<p>Compare was our very own <a href="http://www.meridianfm.com/liz-bennett/">Liz Bennett</a> and sponsored by                                                       The Print Room, with the show held                                                       at the Dorset                                                       Arms, and models also taking                                                       a turn outside                                                       Casablanca in the                                                       Market Square.</p>
<p>Hairstyles                                                       were created by                                                       Paula of The                                                       Wright Studio and                                                       Paul of                                                       Shillibeers. Rose Green of                                                       Rose's Beauty Room                                                       did the vintage                                                       make-up, Ramzan                                                       Mohammed helped                                                       with event organisation and                                                       Dave Phillips                                                       provided the sound.</p>
<p>The event took the audience through 90 years                                                       of fashion, music                                                       and social                                                       history.</p>

<p>Debbie and Rebecca visited Ian Turner, along with Nina a 3yr old Staffordshire Terrier with a pleas for her to be re-homed. Another Chance is a&nbsp;boarding kennel based in Surrey which takes in strays for the local council. The strays stay with them a week awaiting collection from their owners. If their not collected, Another Chance re-home or find rescue spaces for them.</p>
