Jazz Sunday

This Sunday 8-11pm, jazz diva Gill Manly will be joining me Jenny for a “Jazz diva playoff” - Ella Fitzgerald or Billy Holiday? Sarah Vaughan or Diana Washington?  

Jenny & Gill will be battling it out and inviting listeners to join in on the debate: A great way to finish the weekend and discover some new jazz music to enjoy for August.

Animal Wednesday

Join Samantha, Wednesday from 10am for another fascinating three hours of debate and chat – a must for animal lovers! This week, Samantha will be joined by Richard Foot with his Guide Dog Annie and learning how she enhances his life. Adrienne from Home and Pet Sitter 4 U will be talking about pet sitting help while you are on holiday – and Bobby Schuck will be joining from the Llama Park.

Rock Friday

For the rock show, Friday drive-time 5-8pm, Guy will be broadcasting his interview with new rock sensation Tax The Heat from last month’s Ramblin’ Man Fair - and also speaking with rising Welsh band Fireroad following there acclaimed live set at Wildfire Festival.

Charity Saturday

The Rotary team will be on air from 1pm on Saturday and this week they will be speaking with Catherine Goode and Ria Balaam, from the MacMillan Cancer Support Centre at the QVH.

Rock Show

After a two week break, Guy's rock show is back on air this week at the new weekly slot of Fridays 5-8pm.

And during the month of August, Guy will be airing a feast of band interviews from his Great Music Stories Series with the likes of The Answer, Tax The Heat, The Dead Daisies, The Texas Flood, Hoss Thompson, RSJ, Blurred Vision, Diamond Head and more. You can also look forward to lots of new music from some of Britain's brightest emerging rock bands and new releases from rock icons. Start your weekends with a bang every Friday 5-8pm.
